  • Basket Fundraiser Due to the success last year, Parent Council will once again be running a Basket Fundraiser this holiday season.  Each class has selected a 'theme' for their basket and we are asking parents for a contribution to your child's basket.  Please see below for you child's basket 'theme'.  All donations are appreciated. We ask that you send in your donations by Tuesday December 6th.  There will be a basket to collect items in each classroom so please send to school with your child.  Parent Council will be auctioning the baskets during the week of December 12th.  Baskets will be on display at the school during that week as well as online for your convenience.  All funds collected will ...

  • Raccoon Rabies - Burlington The Halton Region Health Department has received test results confirming cases of raccoon rabies found in skunks in Burlington. The rabies virus is spread through the saliva of an infected animal, usually entering through a bite or scratch. Halton Health Dept reminds anyone who comes into physical contact with a raccoon or other wild animal to see a physician immediately about post-exposure rabies treatment and to report the exposure to the Health Dept as soon as possible, by calling 311. The Health Department is reminding residents to:teach children to avoid unfamiliar cats and dogs, not to touch sick or dead animals and to observe wild animals from a distance,ensure dogs and cats are kept up-to-date ...

  • Student Supervisors Wanted Student Supervisors monitor children during nutrition breaks to make sure the classrooms and hallways remain a safe, calm and respectful environment. They observe and rectify any inappropriate behavior inside or outside, including foul language, arguments, fights, or excessive playing. Supervisors also monitor the room closely to avoid potential health risks, such as allergic reactions, choking and food spills. In addition, supervisors watch the exits to make sure students don’t leave the room without permission and stay in their seats.  After the meal, supervisors make sure students clean up, and head outside to the playground promptly. The position requires a commitment of approximately one hour per day and offers a starting pay of $11.45 per hour. Please fill out ...
