Good Evening Robert Little Families!

(Please read to the bottom of this email for important messages and attachments)

What a wonderful day to Jump Rope for Heart!  Our students and staff spent the last hour of our school day jumping, hula-hooping, dancing and running as we raise funds and awareness for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Thank you to all the families for your generous donation to this worthy cause! We are very grateful to Mme Huc for all her organizing to make today a huge success!  Merci Madame!

Volunteer Tea

We loved having so many of our volunteers able to attend our Volunteer Tea on Wednesday. There were so many people who have volunteered this year, and were unable to come.  From all of the staff and students at Robert Little we want you to know how grateful we are for everything you do to support our work. This is such a great community to be apart of, and we couldn’t do it without all your help!  Thank you volunteers!

Fundraising for the Halton Hills Community Park at Robert Little

Please find below an advertisement from Cody’s Cows for their Teddy Bear Picnic coming up the first weekend in June.  This proceeds from this event will be put forward to our new Playground. We hope our North Star Families will be able to support this event!

Rafiki Bracelets - Me to We Club Rafiki Sales

At the beginning of the year, The Me to We students decided they wanted to sell rafiki bracelets as one of our fundraisers for the year.  They have been working hard making posters and writing morning announcements!

Rafiki Bracelets are inspired by Maasai beading traditions in Kenya, handmade with love by women we know as mamas—extraordinary, talented women who are beading their way to a brighter future for themselves and their families.

The bracelets will be sold for the month of May through CashOnline are $10-$15 each and will take about 2 weeks to arrive. With every Rafiki bracelet purchased, Robert Little's Me to We Club will be directing the money towards our pillar —education opportunities in India.
