North Star News - October 5th, 2018

posted Oct 5, 2018, 5:16 PM by Diana Bisante

Good Evening Robert Little Families!

The month of October is in full swing!  This month our Character Theme is Thankfulness and kicked it off with an amazing assembly.  We have invited all our students (and you our families!) to fill out a leaf of thankfulness for our tree.

Supervision Hours

This week we noticed that 20-30 students are arriving before 9:00 AM, without supervision.  A reminder that supervision on the blacktop begins at 9:00 and there is no adult supervision before that time.

From all of us at Robert Little we wish all our Families and the Acton Community a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with Family and Friends!

In Partnership,

Colleen Golightly

Trevor Dykstra

and the Staff of Robert Little

Our Me to We club is kicking off our We Scare Hunger food drive! From now until October 26th, please send any non-perishable food items to school with your child to help support our local fundraising initiative. Some popular items include (but not limited to): soup, pasta sauce, juice, flavoured rice, pasta, Mr. Noodle, jam, tuna and pancake mix.

Thank you so much for your support!

Congratulations to ALL of our athletes who participated and raced! You represented Robert Little exceptionally well! We are all so proud of you.

Special thanks to our parent volunteers for helping out on Thursday. Thank you for Mr. Cousineau for also helping out. Additionally, thank you to Mlle. Eastwood, Mrs. Paul and Mrs. Mattocks in leading our practises every day, and setting up our athletes for success. What a great season!
