Totals are in!  We have raised over $3500.00 for our school!  Our leading class was Mr. Ottaway’s Class with a grand total of $477.00 in funds raised! Mr. Ottaway’s class will celebrate with a pizza and ice cream party later this year!

Thank you to the North Star Community for all your support.

Fourth and Final Notice: Classroom Placement for 2019-2020

As we start our planning for next year, we always like to provide the opportunity for families to share their thoughts about what type of learning environment they feel is the best fit for their children. This is an opportunity for families to provide the office with a written outline of your child’s needs and what styles of teaching have been successful for your child in the past.

As a reminder, we do not take into consideration any requests for specific teachers due to classroom size restrictions and staffing changes that can happen over the next few months. We must stress that the class building process takes many areas into consideration when placing students. Please email Mrs. Colleen Golightly directly, or drop a letter off at our main office. (

All letters must be in the office by April 30, 2019, at the very latest, to be considered prior to class building.

In Partnership,

Colleen Golightly

Robert Little Families!

We’re extremely excited to announce our annual musical, At the Bandstand! This high-energy 1950’s inspired musical will be presented on Thursday May 16th, 2019, at 7pm. There will be a dress rehearsal on Tuesday, May 14th at 9:30 am which you are more than welcome to attend, and we encourage students to have their costumes ready by this date. Along with our cast, all grade three, four, and five students will be performing musical numbers. To ensure we really set the scene of our musical, we are asking for all students involved to assist in their costume. We are just looking for a 1950's-inspired outfit for students to wear. Keep in mind, the students are singing and dancing on stage. Most items you may have at home but, here's a list of iconic 1950's celebrities to draw inspiration from!

- Marilyn Monroe

- Elizabeth Taylor

- Doris Day

- Lucille Ball

- James Dean

- Elvis Presley

- Frank Sinatra

- John Wayne

We thank you for helping us make this a wonderful event!  More information will be sent home in the coming week. Let us know if you need any assistance in finding items that fit our 50's theme. We are more than happy to help!
