Good Evening Robert Little Families!

We had such a great week wearing our Rainbow of Colours to recognize and support our LGBTQ+ community!  It was a tough task finding items to wear each day and has opened up many conversations around inclusion and acceptance of differences.

Though there are only 10 days of school left...we have a TON of things going on around the school.  Next week is Track and Field Day, Play Day, practice for the Talent Shows and many of our clubs are ending for the year. Please be prepared for your child to begin bringing home items from school for you to look over, store, frame, or toss!

The Director’s Cut

Our Director of Education, Mr Stuart Miller, has been sharing short videos on our social media to highlight the wonderful things that we do as the Halton District School board.  Please follow this link to watch Episode #2!


Early Dismissal

On Friday June 28th, our school will dismiss 90 minutes early.  Students will be done for the 2018-2019 School year at 2:05.  Dismissal will take place from our Learning Garden! Families are welcome to join us at 2:00 to hear our closing words as we ‘ring the school bell’ for Summer Break!

For students who take school bus transportation to school: Halton Student Transportation Service (HSTS) has a bus stop calculator on their webpage for parents/guardians to use to calculate their child(ren)'s bus stop times on this day.  

For students who walk to school: Crossing guards will be in place based on the change in schedule for the day.


A Message from your Parent Council:

Parent Council would like to celebrate the end of school year with a complimentary pizza lunch for all students.  We will offer two slices of cheese pizza to grades 1-5 and one slice for kindergarten.  The pizza lunch will take place on Monday June 24th for grades 1-5 and Wednesday June 26th for our Kindergarten classes.  Please visit Cash Online and make a selection for your child(ren). Gluten Free and Vegan options are available.

Thank you to all the parents who have helped support Parent Council in any capacity this year.  We look forward to the 2019/2020 school year and hope to see many new faces join our team.  Parent Council's primary objective is to raise funds to support the learning of our children.  We have members 'retiring' from our school so any time you can give will be greatly appreciated so that we can continue to run programs like our Pizza Days.  Please watch out for the volunteer form that will come home with the first week package in September.  We wish you a safe and fun summer!

End of the Year Book Sale!

 During the last week of school, Robert Little will be holding a Book Sale where students and parents can come and buy some used books to encourage some summer reading. Starting this week, if you have any children or adult books that you would like to donate, please send them with your child to school and they can come to drop it off in the music room. Books will sell for $1 during the eating part of both nutrition breaks. Thursday, June 27, we will have the Book Sale open after school until 6 pm for families who want to come and take a look. All money raised will go to SickKids Foundation.
