Good Evening Robert Little Families!

(Please read to the bottom of this email for important messages and attachments)

Another Amazing Family Math Night

We had whopping 247 people out for our second Family Math Night! Thank you to all the families who stopped in, played some games and had great fun with our school community!  A HUGE thank you to our School Council for all their hard work in creating passports, making estimation jars, buying participation prizes and working the welcome desk for the evening. It is truly a blessing to have such a strong group of parents who support our school. Thank you!!

Have Your Say Survey

Thanks to all the parents and guardians who have completed the Have Your Say survey at home and at Family Math Night. The survey has been extended until Friday, April 5th. If you have not done so, please click on the link below and complete the survey. Your answers give valuable information that we use to improve our school and make Robert Little the best it can be for your child!

If you are in the need for Dog or Cat treats...send in your money beginning Monday!

Lockdown Drill

We will be holding our second and last lockdown drill of the school year on Monday, April 1st. Our community officer from Halton Police - Officer Mike Hunchak - will be joining us to provide us support through the process. Please have a conversation with your child about the lockdown drill and that we practice them to ensure that everyone is safe. If you have any questions or concerns about the lockdown drill, please contact Mr. Dykstra.

Earth Hour

Earth Hour is taking place on Saturday, March 30th from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Please take some time as a family to turn out all the lights and electronics in your home to help out this great cause to do your part to help the environment. Today at Robert Little we acknowledged Earth Hour by turning out our lights and electronics from 2:00 to 3:00. Our classrooms had chats about why we participate in Earth Hour and the importance of caring for our environment and Earth. Below is a link for the Earth Hour to website for further information. Thanks so much and please help do your part for Earth Hour!!!

Student of Excellence

We are very proud to announce that the recipient of the 2018-2019 Student of Excellence for Robert Little Public School is Graeme Furzer.  Graeme is a Grade 5 student who is highly involved in athletics, clubs, and activities here at Robert Little. Graeme is a leader within the classroom, and out on the playground.  He is a student we can consistently rely on to make solid choices, one who always considers the impact of his actions on others and strives to make our school, and community a better place.  We look forward to celebrating with Graeme and his family at the Awards Ceremony in May. Congratulations Graeme!
